We are six today. Half a year gone and more to come. *winks @ dee*
18mths of Bestiehood and we are still going strong. Syukur alhamdulillah.

I hit the road after work and made my way to Bugis to meet up with Bestie. I was to wait for her outside Swensens' and then go have our late dinner. I never fail to feel excited and happy when it comes to meeting her. Somehow I know that we feel so good in each other's company. So I thought to myself, "I wanna see her smile and curious face.." I miss that look on her for sometime already.

I got a stalk of carnation all tied up in a bundle with a Big Bird Toy. Yellow - a cheerful and bright color. Bestie have had a long day at work, a super long day and I wanted to cheer her up and make her forget all about work. It worked! I get to see that smile and that curious face of hers the minute I handed her the bouquet. Beres!

Dinner at Tong Seng and then a walk around Bugis Street before we parted ways. Though it was a short time spent, I was very happy. So was Bestie. We agreed to meet up again real soon.

Then whilst I was msn-ing with Abg Tofik... he told me to check my email and I found 2 e-Cards sent by him. The first one held a message that went like...

Dear B,

I searched the whole universe for the place I'd love most to be...and I found it here...Right beside you! Knowing you will be with me in all my tomorrows, makes my today so wonderful.

And then, a second one came along...it was so cute. Coz the animated snoring bear really reminded me of those times when Abg Tofik slept and how his snores can wake up the entire neighbourhood! Ekekekekeke....it sounded like this -

Yeah... so you see. I don't need lavish surprises nor extravagant gifts on anniversaries. His cute little surprises like these are enough to tickle my heart and put a big smile on my face. I can sleep and smile. Kalau lah orang nampak, mesti dorang cakap, "Nie macam orang senyum dalam iman..."

So I am looking forward to meeting Abg Tofik later tonite after work to have a lil celebration with him. We are gonna have dinner and catch a movie. Just like those days we had when we were friends back then. Simple yet so very sweet.

To end this entry, here's my note to Abg Tofik:-

Dear Dee,

Other than being a wonderful person to me, you are my bestfriend, my confidante and someone whom I can turn to for anything. I know that if not little, you would always try to give me more than I asked for. At times, you even give without me asking. Its so blissful being with you. And I wonder why I kept falling in love so many times...and those many times are always with you. *winks*
